Resgen now available for Resolume PC users
For all of you patient PC users out there, our generative visuals set for Resolume, Resgen is now fully compatible with PC. Today, Resolume released update v4.2 for Arena & Avenue 4 which fixed a bug that was affecting generative sources. We’ve tested Resgen on Windows 8 using version 4.2 and can confirm it works great. Be sure to update to Resolume Arena & Avenue 4.2 if you are planning to use Resgen in your sets. Happy triggering!

Resolume 4.2 Released
Resolume just released an update for Arena & Avenue 4, version 4.2! Also new is the DXV 3 codec which reduces file sizes and improves playback of video files in Resolume. Here are some of the new features:

New Set of Generative Visuals for Resolume “Resgen”
We’re excited to announce Resgen, our first generative, realtime visuals set created with Resolume. Resgen consists of 60 generative clips built for layering and customization. Each clip is animated in realtime using the built-in effects and generators of Resolume. Custom dashboard controls provide a quick way to improvise, especially in live situations. Any parameter can be altered to create new visuals or linked to audio and BPM.
Resgen was built to allow for greater flexibility, creativity and improvisation. Generative visuals are a fun and different way to play without the need to stream footage from a hard disk. We’re excited about this one and hope you get a lot of use out of it. As always thank you to our many supporters.

We’ve offered our customized DocOptic color theme for VDMX users to use in their own projects. It is based on our logo colors with Helvetica font in a high contrast look.
